Inappropriate?As far as I can tell from research, twhirl broke on linux and there's a thread about it on GSFN, and apparently some guy made ephzero mad so he wants a killfile (ignore list). I think it'd be neat, but it should not apply to employees of the company you're viewing.
Say, for example, you don't like me. "Shocking, who could ever do such a thing?", you may think. Well, it happens! Anyway, if you ignored me, it should take effect in forums that I'm not an employee in. But if I'm an employee, you should probably see my replies to your posts.
I don't think this is too bad an idea, as long as overrides are in place. Because hey, maybe someone thinks nullstyle is a jerk in the Twitter forum, but he responded to their help question in the Get Satisfaction forum and they need to see it. It's possible. -
Inappropriate?Oh, I didn't get mad. I just don't like to waste time wading through long and irrelevant rants by annoying people. "Ignore User" would be a lovely option to save us all a bit of time and scrolling.
And I'm a she. But that's OK; I won't killfile you just for that. :)
