We also had a live Webcast at the time to discuss the issue with our customers or anyone else who was interested (http://blog.getsatisfaction.com/2009/...).
We're always open to criticism and feedback. So, feel free to let us know what you think. We've instituted a number of changes to the site based on the feedback we received from this incident. We really do what companies who don't want to participate on our site to be clearly indicated as such, and we link out to "official" places to get help as much as possible. Also, please note that we don't have any ads on Get Satisfaction. We're not trying to be a destination site or co-opt anyone's plans; just a place where customer service gets done.
I think it made us stronger and better. Let me know if you have any specific details you want to hear about. I'd be happy to offer a response on just about anything.

Inappropriate?Thanks Eric for your prompt reply, I can see why companies will get nervous especially in the face of negative feedback where they don't control the whole environment which I suppose if you dig deep into 37 signals's issues with your site it might be just that.
