Inappropriate? To add companies or products to your dashboard, "rate" them. Mouse over the images and click on rate. You're now "following" them on your dashboard.

Thanks Eric but where is the image??? -
Hey Eric, I finallly succeeded in adding a company, I must however say that this is not really self explanatory , it definitely should be possible to follow a company without rating it, especially when it is so big b/c I don't really know do I have to rate the power plant engineering unit of SIEMENS or am I disappointed about the noise of my SIEMENS vacuum cleaner...can you rate GE easily????? -
I don't think the "vote" or rating is meant to be that fine-grained. Just a quick love it, hate it kind of rating works, too. -
Inappropriate? No apologies necessary. Your question is not stupid.
Welcome! Let us know how else we can help.

Thanks Amy, I am a bit lost actually what else I can do...I am actually very interested what all the features and possibilities are .... -
Hi Boutrous - For starters, you may want to check out this section and the pages linked off of it: http://getsatisfaction.com/about
Also, you can check out these lists of topics:
http://getsatisfaction.com/getsatisfa...
http://getsatisfaction.com/getsatisfa... -- this list is a bit cluttered, but there are some useful topics in there.
If you're interested in premium features for companies, you can check out this page: http://getsatisfaction.com/pricing And be sure to check out the pages available via the sub navigation on that page. -
Inappropriate?Wow, although rating a company to add it makes sense, you might need to make it a little more obvious, especially if you're trying to add your own company. Rating your own company seems a bit cheeky to me and I wasn't planning on doing it... oh well, 10 stars!
I’m amused

Hi Nick, thanks for following my question, I was asking this because after registering I was not 100% clear what I should do next to get the full picture of what "Get Satisfaction" can do for me ....and I am very interested as I am a market researcher here in Germany interested in Online Qual tools... -
Inappropriate?Hi Nick. Agreed. There's a lot that we need to make more obvious. You are picking up on things much quicker than some. :)
And hey, no guilt over giving your own company high marks.
-
Inappropriate?I don't own a company but I'm very proud of the company I worked at. I was wanting to add it but I don't know if I can. If not, oh well.
I’m thankful
-
Inappropriate?Hi Debbie. You can add them to your dashboard by finding their community here on Get Satisfaction (if they have one) and then rating them. Look for the rating widget:

If the company isn't on Get Satisfaction yet, you can add it here.

Inappropriate?hello in your home beg you will fiend Products & Companies pres it then you will see all Products & Companies and then pres Rate ,,,you will do it esyer don"t worry .
-
Inappropriate? The necessity to rate the company is really not intuitive. The actual page says "products & companies you use", so you'd expect all companies you use to show up! And they don't...
I’m confused
