Horizontal scrollbar in IE, not in FF
hi
after adding the feedback button widget i noticed that when viewing my site with IE, a horizontal scrollbar is added, in firefox it looks ok.
also, and maybe related, the feedback widget does not scroll with the site itself, i read other reported issues like that but couldnt find something helpful, the link is: http://www.emailaya.com maybe it is something specific i need to change in the code?

I see your widget scrolling with the site in Firefox on my Mac. Is it just not scrolling in IE or FF as well for you?
Don't think I've heard about a horizontal scroll bar being added due to the Feedback widget. I know there was some bug that was causing it to add a vertical scroll bar in some instances.1 Comment

both problems happen ONLY with IE7
with IE8 and FF, both are working fine
with IE6 i didnt check
all the above is under windows OS
i saw other topics about the scrolling issue but since they were specific to a site i thought maybe my site has a certain problem so i wrote the address as well

No, I haven't been able to confirm it because I'm on a Mac and don't have any recent versions of IE. But some of our dev team have been QA'ing some IE issues with the Feedback Widget so this one is on their radar as well.

I'm not sure what you mean by "switch to other pages". The way it usually works is we try to make sure that an issue either gets resolved or, if it can't be resolved right away, we update the topic with that information. Does that answer your question? I'm sorry if I'm not understanding you correctly. :)

ok, well actually it seems im having the same exact problem (horizonatal scrollbar + feedback widget not scrolling with site) but with IE7 and not only 6.
