Inappropriate?You can mark it up like you would mark up HTML. We support some HTML. But, if that's a technical hurdle, we will soon be releasing formatting tools, which I believe may help with this. Let me check and see if that is going live very soon. I know we're mostly done with these tools but we haven't released them.
Are you familiar with inserting links via HTML? It can be a little tricky if you're not used to it.
I’m hoping we can get you the answer you want

No, I've not used HTML before but I can look it up. Meanwhile please let me know once the formatting tools are ready. -
Inappropriate?If you just want to insert hyperlinks, it's pretty easy. For example, you can simply insert the hyperlink and the text you want to appear in two spots.
Like so:

Here's a really quick tutorial: http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/linki...
We'll follow up here and let you know when the new tools are ready. Back at you very soon.

Inappropriate?I think the easier way for you to go about it (without learning html) is to install the bbcode firefox extension or alternatively install a text replacement program and use that (which is what I do)
I’m hoping I was helpful

Inappropriate?Hey, great point, db0! You can always compose them and then paste them into our interface.

Inappropriate?One last thing: I checked and, sadly, our formatting tools aren't quite done, but they're pretty close. So, look for them in the near future, definitely sometime this summer. Maybe even in the next few weeks.
I’m sans formatting for now

Inappropriate?After some quick testing, it seems that you cannot put a hyperlink in a comment on a reply. Is this intended behavior? It seems to me that it would be frequently beneficial for an employee responding directly to a specific comment to be able to add a link to what he's describing.

Inappropriate?Chad,
The inability to link inside of a comment is "by design". We're homing in on a better solution to how comments exist in the system, and this problem you mention is certainly one of the factors being considered.
I would recommend, until we fix this, to make a full-blown reply but refer to the person to whom you are responding. For example:
@person_with_the_problem:
Sorry you're having trouble, please go here and yadda yadda yadda
