Inappropriate?Hi Dreamresult,
We don't necessarily have strict rules around this right now but I guess it depends on how a company wants to use an account. For instance, if they're doing an integration with our API, we do have limits on how many API calls can be made with a free account as there's a cost on our end when the numbers get really high.
I've asked someone from our business team to reply to give you some more insight into free vs paid as well as usage levels.

Inappropriate?Hi there, Dreamresult! We can handle any number of customers, but if a company goes over 10k unique users/month, we usually ask them to pay for one of our premium services. It's not a hard requirement, necessarily, but that's a lot of usage of our service (most of our companies are well under that), so we think it's only fair.

when you have a starter package it encourages the newbie to keep writing what he loves and he might end up with a big enough check to start paying for the upgrade. I say yes keep the free starter kit. This really encourages people to keep doing what they love. Then they might become famous. There are not many free sites to help people get started writing. -
