How to close your Get Satisfaction account
If you've decided you don't want to be here on Get Satisfaction, well, we're sorry to see you go. We want to make it easy for you to close your account. You can do that by accessing your dashboard:
getsatisfaction.com/people/YOURUSERNAME/edit
In the "Account Details" section, scroll down to the bottom of the page, enter your password, and click on "Close your account".

No, we preserve content that has been created in the system. -
Inappropriate?Understood. Does it dis-associate our comments/replies with our real name (i.e. Google Search results)?

Inappropriate?We leave whatever name is associated -- nickname or real name -- whichever the user has specified they prefer. Users can always change either one of those to anything they prefer, and even reopen a closed account to change that level of detail if they wish.

Inappropriate?Hey :o) Got a new account in a company role - forgot I had an old one. Accounts somehow became associated. Meh :o(
Issued a delete request for old account - but I still continue to be switched from "new" account (with company status) to "old" account (with no status).
Cleared cookies, etc. & restarted browser. No improvement.
Seems I need to to **totally get rid of** old account. Is there a way to do that, please? My bad, but would appreciate any assistance that can be offered to this end. -
Inappropriate?hey thanks for the lesson on closing the account, however I do not know the password to do so. I also do not even know how I got this ..how can I get the password when there is no option for forgot password

You should see a "forgot my password" when logging in. You posted this topic, so I assume you are already logged in. I'll close your account for you. -
