How to get from sample form code to a real form on my website?
Hi there. I am new at API programming and I would really like it if you guys could provide at least one more or less complete step-by-step of creating a form on a website which uses you API, for example for posting a form.
To be fair, there is a sample form in your API documentation. But the form has no submit button, and when I add one it gives me an access denied error. I suspect I need to do something with the consumer key/secret that I've been given and with the callback URL that I'm asked to specify.
But what?

Inappropriate? The form is actually not a sample form, it's more of a listing of the possible fields when creating a topic.
My recommendation is to first read getting started. If you need to not only read from the site but also write to the site, you need to use OAuth, so I would recommend that you also read our OAuth information.
Will this be coded in Ruby or PHP? If so, we have available libraries for these languages.
You API key and secret can be found in your company's admin page, under "FastPass".
You are totally right about having a step-by-step guide, we should definitely think about that.
I hope it helps you get started with our API. Just let us know if you have any problems or just need more explanation.
I’m hoping this helps
