I can't sign up. I'm being frustrated at every turn. Help!
- I clicked the link to go from a one-time poster to a full profile. I filled out the form. When I hit submit, I was presented with... the same form, now blank, with a blank error at the top.
- When I tried to sign up normally as a new user, I got the helpful error message: "Emails is invalid."
- When I tried to import my profile from Twitter, once again, I got: "Emails is invalid."
- I then got an email from Satisfaction saying 'Welcome!' and that I needed to confirm my email. Clicking the link in that gives me an error message that says: AccessDeniedError.
- When I try to request my password, assuming I've typo'd it, I just get the same email again asking me to fill out a nickname and password to go from a one-time signup to a full profile.
Best part? I -know- my profile has been created, because the first question I asked now lists my name beside the question. But I can't sign in!

cfred, Sorry about the strange behavior. As you can see by this thread, the bug has been present for a while. It seems you were able to create an account, and I'm glad about that.
We're scrambling towards a release at the moment, but I'll be sure to prioritize this bug (since it's a terrible user experience) for a fix. We'll be working on error messages throughout the site.

Inappropriate?Actually, I figured this out. For no reason, when I changed my email address slightly (by adding +gs to the end of the first part of the address), apparently Satisfaction decided that 'emails' (:P) was not invalid.
The empty error message still seems like something that should be addressed, however.

Inappropriate?Hi philulrich/macanima. This is my bad. I was working on some code around allowing user accounts on Satisfaction to have multiple email addresses. It appears that my job here is not done, and you've uncovered a bug in upgrading from a one-time poster to a full account.
I'm reviewing the code now and expect to have a fix in place for the next time we push code live. I'll also be sure to fix your philulrich account so you can log in.
Sorry about the useless error messages as well. The bad English is the result of my leaving the default Rails error messages in place. (One or more "Emails is invalid")

Inappropriate?That's curious. Even though I got the "emails is invalid" error, it seems to have quietly created my account anyway. This is utterly bizarre behaviour.
