I don't like how the big buttons on the topic creation form work!
I started entering data into the topic creation form at random, including clicking on the big buttons at the bottom (thinking they were just really big radio buttons) but instead they submitted the form!
Perhaps you could add numbers to help me figure out what order I should enter the data in?

What we're going to do is surround all four buttons with a box, and have the title on the box say: "All done? Submit!" -- so that it will be very clear that that's the last step. Otherwise, doesn't matter what order you do things in. What do you think? Will that work?
I’m anxious

Inappropriate? It'd be nice if there was an indicator that something was happening after you hit the button, like graying out the interface. I hit it a few times before I realized it was submitting.

Inappropriate?Yeah, this is getting fixed this week. There's a reason we haven't formally launched this baby yet! Great feedback, btw.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Yeah, I think that's better -- I'm used to a final submit button -- rather than having, let's say, some arbitrary radio buttons be the submit buttons (unless it's a one-question poll). I also think that your sizing avoids design hierarchy and so I don't really know how to go from one step to another.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?we're launching the new version later today or tomorrow, including a revised structure to the page, so check back in on it and tell me what you think.

Inappropriate?Yep. I just had frustration with this and was going to submit a suggestion around it. There's no reason to re-invent the wheel here-- this is a prime case for radio buttons (plain ol' ones, at that).
When a user is in form-fillin'-out mode, they are looking for form elements. I totally overlooked the huge graphical buttons and was saying to myself, "Where the heck is the darn submit button?"
This is a choice of 1 option that could be pretty/cute but potentially confusing for some users (what ya have now) and another option that would be boring but EVERYONE would understand it... You guys have a gorgeous site-- I think you can err on the side of usability with this one. :-)
I’m on a usability crusade!
