Inappropriate?Hi Eric, yes exactly! I had attached a screenshot just like it, I wonder where it went...

Inappropriate?Yeah, that's odd that your screenshot didn't show up here because it did show up in the email notification we received for this topic.
-
Inappropriate?Huh. That is very odd. Do you happen to know what kind of images those were when you uploaded them or what dimensions they were? Just curious, although I totally understand if you don't remember or aren't sure.
-
Inappropriate?Hi Eric, the images were .jpg and I read somewhere that they have to be 100x100 so that's what I did. Maybe I read a really old post and they have to be a different size?
-
Inappropriate? No, you are right on about the images. Just wanted to check and make sure. I am not sure what this is about, but I am putting it in our bug-tracking database.
-
Inappropriate? Thanks a lot! Here's another screenshot but I'm sure you've seen it already. Hope you guys will find a fix eventually, I know how long bug lists can get ;)
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Adding my first product image and it's a tall photo of a bottle of liquid. This overflows the product photo box on the site and also very nearly completely obscures the "Edit Product" button where that appears. This is in latest Firefox for Mac browser.

Inappropriate?I just uploaded my profile picture and now my thumbnails are very large? Did I do something wrong?

Why are my thumbnails pictures so large?.

Inappropriate? Thanks for reporting this, everyone. I've asked our team to check into these different reports of images not being constrained into the spaces they are supposed to. I think they may all be related and hope for a quick fix.
-
Inappropriate?I'm not seeing my user icon. I've tried reuploading it a couple times, but it's not showing up in my posts.

Inappropriate?Hello?
-
Hello! We are still working on this. Sorry it hasn't been fixed yet. -
Inappropriate? Our uploaded images for "Products" seem to be borked - some are overflowing their display area, others not displaying at all but replaced by the image name.
Noted that there was a similar report from 6 months back; http://getsatisfaction.com/getsatisfa...
It's entirely possible this is user error, so please feel free to educate us via back-channel!

Product logos displaying poorly. -
Inappropriate? When a user goes to submit question, idea, problem etc. The product images are HUGE. They don't size correctly. Which is causing our users to not pick a product. Please HELP!
Thanks,
Stefanie

Product Images don't size correctly on topic page..

Inappropriate? When I visited my dashboard today, I noticed that one of the users' profile images was very large, 1536px × 2048px to be exact, not to mention 500kb and took a while to load. I guess it didn't get resized or rejected correctly. The user is this guy, to give an exact example - http://getsatisfaction.com/people/jos...

Inappropriate?Avatars are resized (for posting) without preserving the aspect ratio of an original image, can u fix that?

Avatar resizing without preserving of the aspect ratio of original image.
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?Good news! I believe our most recent deploy fixed this problem. However, images that exist on dashboards in the past might still show up as ginormous. The dev team tells me they are going to "back fill" those over the next week so that they'll show up.
-
Inappropriate? Now its even worse - images are change during upload so that width = height (then resized without aspect ratio?) so when hey are displayed in dashboard (and scaled up) they look terrible.
-
Inappropriate?olo, I've filled this as a bug and I'll be updating everyone just as soon as I receive confirmation that it's been fixed. I'm terribly sorry about this.
-
Inappropriate? How does a blocker bug stay open for 2 months?
-
We're currently in the middle of a huge release, which means some bugs had to get juggled in order to make sure everything is getting done in time. But I won't call this a blocker - blocking bugs actually cause the site to brake, which isn't the case here. However, that doesn't mean this isn't a high priority. -
Inappropriate? Here's a profile with an especially large image being displayed at 100% with no resizing - seems to be just the wrong image reference.

Would be a good thing to fix. -
