It would be great if you could create a private thread between just you and the company.
It would be great if you could create a private thread between just you and the company. There's some issues that you can't really talk about publicly, such as account related requests that require you to share your a/c details.
If you could create a private support thread that only you and the company can see, that would work well. Traditionally, you might email the company instead — but why not use GS as a one-stop location for company support?
Interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks!

The company has this under consideration.

Inappropriate?I guess another solution would be to be able to attach private information to a thread, that only you and the company can see.

Inappropriate? We have had many requests for a private version. That is something we're considering, but in the nearer term, we want to provide private data fields for this kind of private information in a Pro widget.
More about a private alternative here: http://getsatisfaction.com/getsatisfa... -
Inappropriate?Actually, Eric, Richard isn't asking for a private community (what that link points to), but private messaging, a big difference. We've had a lot of requests for this as well, and some version of this is in fact on our roadmap. It is not planned for the next few quarters, however.
Eric makes a good point that our upcoming private data fields partially support the most common use case in which a company needs to consistently collect some piece of information to reply effectively. -
Inappropriate?I stand corrected. I guess both are coming, if not soon, eventually.

Inappropriate?Sounds good, thanks. All I'm talking about is the ability to check a box that says "only you and the company can see this question/idea/problem/praise".
The ability to provide private data in a thread also works well, and probably covers most use cases.
Thanks!
I’m optimistic
