perhaps i am simply looking in the wrong place, but is there an api for your javascript widgets? i am creating them in my own via js, but I am not sure if all the feedback_widget_options are working. I would like to pre populate the title field, but none of the options seem to let me do that. Also, what does the "popular_topics" option do?
Thanks!

Hi Adam,
We have an API, and you could build your own custom widgets with it. The widgets themselves, however, are designed to be setup using the configurators on the /admin/widgets page.
You're the first person to request populating the widget title, actually, thus this option does not currently exist. I'm curious to hear more about the use case for setting the title. The "pro widget," which comes with some of the premium plans, allows you to pre-define a tag or product association, link custom css, and set the number of suggested topics.
I'm not sure where you're seeing a "popular_topics" option. Can you point me to where you're seeing this?-

Hi,
line 97 of feedback-v2.js appends the popular_topics option to the iframe url. The reason that we would like to pre populate the title field is because we have three links that launch the get satisfaction window. We have the traditional fixed position black tab that launches a generic window, and we have two other links that we would launch a get satisfaction overlay for two specific kinds of feedback (suggested categories and suggested feeds).
Thanks for your help with this. -

Is there en update on the JS API?
We would like to dynamically pre populate the field "short title".
