Inappropriate?Hi Daniel,
Yes, if you have more than one company you'll want to create a separate Get Satisfaction site for each of them and then you can create a Feedback Widget for each.
-
hmm, still not clear. So do I need to create separate getsatisfaction accounts w/separate logins or can all my companies be placed in one getsatisfaction account each w/different emails, skins, settings etc? -
Each Feedback Widget is company-specific. You can be an employee of more than one company, all from the same Get Satisfaction account (same e-mail address, too, if you like). Does that help? -
Inappropriate? If these multiple Web sites are for multiple products from the same company, can the one widget be used on each product site? Will the Widget let the site visitor select the product they are posting about?
I’m unsure
-
Inappropriate? We don't have product-specific widgets yet, although that is in the works, but customers can choose the product in the Feedback Widget. If your company has multiple products, they will show up as check-box choices in the "more details" drop-down.
-
It would be wonderful to assign a default product to each widget - both for automatic categorization, and for the sample list of topics.
How soon might this be possible? -
We have a product-specific widget in beta right now. More here: http://getsatisfaction.com/getsatisfa... -
Inappropriate?I was pretty stumped by this for a while. I had to create a new account for another website that we operate, and had to call it a new "company" even though it's just another one of our projects. It's pretty important that users of specific sites can enter the info in the right place without having to check off hidden boxes.
I’m disappointed

Inappropriate?Hi nickyg,
Could you explain what you mean by your last sentence? I'm not sure what hidden boxes you're referring to.
I’m wanting to help but don't quite understand the problem
-
Inappropriate?Hi Amy,
Here's what I did:
* Created and account and then added my company
* Added a product to my company for one of the websites we operate
* Tried to figure out how to add a widget for feedback on that website; couldn't figure it out, so ended up using our company's widget.
* Placed the widget on a site to test it out
* Wanted: to leave feedback directly for this specific site by default
* Instead: had to click the "add more details" drop-down to expose the checkbox asking me to specify the site.
From the perspective of visitors to that site, it doesn't make any sense for them to have to check a box choosing a site that they're currently visiting.
So, instead, I just created a separate GetSatisfaction account for our new website, and that seems to be working fine. -
I think it would make more sense to be able have a separate widget for each product, to make it as easy as possible for the end users. -
Inappropriate?Hi nickyg - Oh, ok. I get it. Yeah, I guess in your case because each of your products has it's own web site it would make sense to have them listed in GS as separate companies. I'm glad you found a solution that's working for you now.
And, as was mentioned above, (this will make you happy too, Jonathan Grubbs), we do have plans for a product-specific widget.

Inappropriate? Thanks Amy -- would love to see that feature come along, but I am all set in the meantime.
I’m fine for now
