No contact info included with embedded "share an idea" submission.
We have a GS "share an idea" feature on one of our pages: http://www.postrank.com/publishers/an... but one submission just came in with zero contact information for the person who submitted it. No username, no link we can go to to respond, etc. Is there any way of responding to this person?

I have this question, too!
Tell me when someone answers.

Inappropriate? It is possible for someone to submit "private" feedback and provide a bogus email address. Did you not receive any email address? Was this a private message that arrived in your inbox?

Inappropriate? No email address. Message arrived in one employee's inbox and started like:
---------- Forwarded message ----------
From: <noreply@getsatisfaction.com>
Date: Tue, Mar 3, 2009 at 8:21 AM
Subject: question: Cost?
To: support@aiderss.com

I can understand the value of anonymous feedback, but if someone wants a question answered (as in this case) seems like some sort of contact info should be mandatory. -
Inappropriate?I hear what you are saying. I wonder why someone would think that they'll get a response if they don't include an email address. Seems like common sense to me, but that's just me.
Perhaps an error message warning them that not including an email address means the company won't be able to respond would work.
I’m undecided
