Inappropriate?Well, I am not sure. It sounds like a good idea in theory. My worry is that adding things to widgets can get them overloaded to the point that they're not very lightweight anymore. But, that may just be me. I'll take the temperature of this one and see what everyone else here thinks. Thanks for the idea!

Inappropriate?It's a good idea. However, we're really swamped with tasks right now, and adding openid support is pretty low priority compared to some other things.
We'll update as this makes it into the higher priorities.

Inappropriate?I always use openID where possible. To be honest, for most of the sites that use openID, I can't remember the password used on that site... so I had to reset my password in order to post feedback...

so log out, go to the signin page and use your openid, then use it to associate your openid with your GSFN account, and you'll never have to reset your password again.

I already HAVE associated my openid with GSFN. The feedback widget however does not use OpenID so I have to use the "old-fashion" way...
