Ownership of Ideas
When someone posts an idea... who owns the idea?
As a company, we'd love to implement the ideas of our users but are a bit worried about the ramifications given the current terms of use in Get Satisfaction. It seems that everyone owns their content. This could be troublesome.
This could also be solved by implementing this request in GS:

Inappropriate?Hi Chris,
We are indeed reviewing our approach to IP ownership, particularly around the submission of ideas. I don't have an answer just yet on a revised policy, but it is coming. Thanks for letting us know that this is important to you!
I’m confident that TOS 2.0 will satisfy

Inappropriate? Thanks Thor, it's really the biggest stopping point for us from adopting the full service. Do you have a timeline for when the update will be available?
I’m excited

Inappropriate?FWIW, it is not just ideas. Someone contributing a problem could theoretically make a claim of ownership. When you contribute something to a company's GS system, the company should have rights to use it. Without that I can't see how a company could use this system. They're just opening themselves to all manner of issues down the road.
