Part of many companies, how do you become "Employee" for all of them?
How do you become one for multiple companies you own and manage?
The more people who ask this question, the more it gets noticed.

If you own/represent the companies, there is a claiming process being worked on for launch that will let you prove it and get admin access. Besides that, and before it is done, you can get in contact with Amy and she will confirm and set you up.
When you are an admin of a community, you have the ability to specify domain names from which employees will be designated (i.e. All employees have emails from corp.yahoo.com). Alternatively, you can specify employees by entering in their account email.
Your 'role' within each company space is independent from any other; That is, you can be an Admin in 2 communities, an Official Rep in 3 other communities, and an Employee in a *different* community.
I’m hoping that helps

Update on how this currently works:
If your site hasn't yet been claimed you can click the "Learn how to get involved" link to the right of the Topic Creation box. This will lead you through the learn and claim process which will culminate with us confirming your affiliation with the company and setting your status. More on claiming a company here.
If your site already has employees involved you can either create a user account with your company's official email domain or get in touch with one of the employees already associated with your site. Whomever is set as an Admin will be able to add you as an employee and set your role status.

Inappropriate? Thanks Scott. Please see http://getsatisfaction.com/eskwela. I am using an email address with an @eskwela.com account but not an employee. All my colleagues are employees, apparently not me.
Yeah, I think Amy can help me out.

Inappropriate?Hi AJ. I'll look into it right away. You should be showing up automatically as an emloyee with that email address but, being a beta, the system is still a little buggy. Sorry about that!
I’m going to make it happen

Inappropriate?Actually, AJ, I need to know your full email address. I tried aj@ but that didn't show up in our system. Please email me at amy [at] getsatisfaction [dot] com with your @eskwela email address.
Also, FYI, because one of your colleagues is marked as an admin, he can also access the admin section and add you as an employee.

Inappropriate?Got it. Thanks. You are now set as an employee. If it's appropriate for you to be set an Official Representative, your colleague that's an admin can assign that role for you. Or let me know and I'll do it. Cheers!!
I’m glad you're happy

Inappropriate? Please set me as an Official Representative. :) Also, the "Employee" thingy still isn't showing. I just logged in to another computer.

Inappropriate?Hi! Yeah, we know. Right now it's difficult (read: almost impossible) to know which companies you're associated with already, much less request that you get upgraded to employee status.
You might have noticed we just launched a couple of features that expose when employees are active in a company and on a topic, and adding in requesting employee status via a link or similar on the site is soon to follow.
Thanks for the feedback!

Inappropriate? This one is a caching issue. It will filter out into new replies you make, and will update as other people make replies to the topics where it isn't showing up, and will then be updated everywhere when we do our next deploy (which happen every day or so).
We haven't yet denormalized a couple of things that are prime for it on the topic pages, and without fragment caching it turns into "N + 1" query situation.
It will be one of the things fixed when we do another round of optimizations. -
Inappropriate?Good thing I happen to understand "denormalized, caching, fragment caching, n+1".
Must have been too geeky from somebody.
I’m silly
