please make the animated search results stop

i find these distracting and right now my computer is slow for some reason ... maybe the internet, maybe i need to restart my browser, but when my user experience is slowed down and i see animation on the page... I have to suspect that the javascript there is what's slowing the response time down... for instance its hard to type this because there is delayed response on screen... yet there is animation. (err)

please help me get my satisfaction faster without distractions
