Please revise GS user interface to always show dates of postings
Please change your interface so that all posts have a date.
It is not sufficient that something was 10 hours, or 21 days ago: what was the date?
Make this a part of all posts, so if we see some less active forum, we have a couple ways of telling how active it is. XX days ago (a relative measure) and YY date (an absolute term and measure).
Thanks.

Inappropriate? This has been suggested before. I think we have a reason -- well, I know we have a reason for doing it this way -- but I'll have to ask someone with the development chops to weigh in and give some background about why it's the way it is now, and not the way you suggest. Maybe we would want to change it. Will do my best to find out.

Inappropriate?Redtexture, the date (example: April 25, 2009 20:19 for your post above) is visible in a tooltip for all posts if you hover over the "XX days|weeks|months ago" notation. All times seem to be listed in GMT +0 time. I'm hesitant to point that out but it did take me a little while to notice. Apologies if you've already knew that and were simply requesting that it be explicitly on the page.
Eric, I'd like to see the timestamp offset the time by the correct number of hours if GS users set their time zone. Am I overlooking some current option? -
We aren't adjusting timestamps based on user timezone, but this is something we'd like to do. We will probably approach this problem as we dig into our localization project. -
Thanks for the heads up, Thor.
I'm content to wait.
