Include referring URL and OS/browser details in Get Satisfaction interface
We are condering using Get Satisfaction as both a customer suppport and a feedback/bug report tool on one or more upcomming websites.
It it possible to prepopulate the form with the current url when using the widget (either pro or free)?
Inclusion of the actual page (and get-info) would greatly increase the value of the feedback.

Inappropriate?I realise now, that the widget already supplies that information. The url is included in the email sent to the administrator, but - as far I can see - not visible on getsatisfaction.com-site.
Any way to review such information from getsatisfaction? -
Inappropriate?Yes, topics that are submitted via the widget will have that extra info. However, we haven't included that in the regular Web interface. People have asked, though. I'll turn this topic into an idea about this, and maybe we can grow some support for it.

Inappropriate?I get awesome details in the GetSatisfaction email notifications about people's environments, what pages they were on, etc. But when I goto the actual page on getsatisfaction.com, I can't find that anywhere! That is VERY useful, and it sucks that I have to go back to the email to get that. If it's already on the page somewhere, that link needs to be VERY prominent!
This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled
Need user specs on GetSatisfaction instead of just in Email.
I’m needy

Inappropriate?I also would like to support the idea of including user details somewhere in the topic for admin to see. Would be really useful!
