Company representative marked the topic:
The company and 1 other person say this solves the problem
but, the status in management view is still "pending"? Wouldn't company saying that this solves the problem, set the whole therad to "solved"?

Inappropriate?The status of a given topic in the management view is tied directly to the "status dropdown" which is set to "We're aware of the problem" on that topic. Changing it to "This problem is solved" will fix the issue.
We're working on improving the filters for the management view such that you will be able to say "Show me all the topics without promoted answers" which would allow more flexibility in cases such as this.

On one hand the company is "Aware of this problem" and on the other hand they have already proposed "Solutions" though it may not be solved. The design team has noticed this issue, and we would like to revisit the status and answers surfacing system as whole. Thanks for bringing this up.
