Problem with changing notifications: Can't get no Satisfaction!
I am not getting emails when someone posts a reply. Under change notifications I get an error: Can't get no Satisfaction!
Whoops! There's been a server error, and it looks like something broke. Our apologies.
If you're up for it, please report this problem... what do I do next? Thanks

Inappropriate?Fixed.
Please note that this bug was also described here: http://getsatisfaction.com/satisfacti...
I had simply forgotten to do the deploy
I’m glad the search is working well

Inappropriate? That's what happens when you're up working all hours of the night, Scott.
I’m sometimes forgetful too.

Inappropriate?Hi GS,
I'm an admin for a GS comnpany, Loopt. I'm not longer receiving notifications from my replies (and only my replies), and neither is my entire team. I ensured the reply field is checked in the "e-mails and notifications" section of my settings.
Would you happen to know what's up?
Thanks!

Not sure, but I'll take a look and get back to you as quickly as possible. -
Min, you are saying that you aren't receiving notifications when other people reply in topics you are following? But, you are getting new topics? Just want to make sure I understand. -
Hi Eric, Thanks for looking at this so quickly.
I get everyone else's replies, but when I reply, the notification does not get sent out to the group and me. -
Your replies should go out to everyone in the topic you're replying in, but that's it. Are you saying you want all replies to go to all employees? Or are you saying you want to be cc-ed on your replies? Or, am I misunderstanding? I think I might be missing something, so please bear with me. -
What used to happen was that when I replied to a topic, all the employees, myself included, would get an e-mail notification.
For example, all of us got an new topic e-mail notification from this question:
http://getsatisfaction.com/loopt/topi...
However, when I replied, a reply notification was not sent to the group or to me.
On the other hand, when a colleague replies to this topic, all of us will get a notification.
I hope this makes sense.

You should only get new topics if you're signed up for them, and you should only get new replies if you are participating in the topic. We don't notify everyone at the company of all replies to all topics. So, everyone should have been notified when that new topic showed up, but replies will only go to the people actively participating in that conversation. -
I have these boxes checked:
- Notify me of all new topics in Loopt
- Notify me of every new topic and every new reply in Loopt
Therefore, I should get notifications, including replies I make, right?
Also, what has happened before was that I did get e-mail notifications of my own replies.
This is an important function for us b/c this is an efficient way for Loopt to keep track of responses, w/o having to visit the page to ensure questions have been answered.
Thanks. -
Ah, I see. Sorry for my misunderstanding. You have both checked. Got it.
The one thing you shouldn't receive are copies of your own replies, but you should receive all other folks' replies. (It sounds like that's what you would prefer -- to get copies of your own replies, too). I will see what the folks around here think of that, if it's something we could or should do.
In any case, now you're not getting *any* replies. I think I need to pull in someone with a bigger brain who can help me get this straightened out for you. -
Min, here is one key thing to note: Your fellow employees control whether they receive emails or not. So, it may be that they don't have this enabled in the same manner that you do (both checkboxes checked). If that's the case, they'll only receive emails when they are participating. Are you getting any replies?
