I have a product manager who wants to be notified whenever someone submits a post concerning his product, but not be notified re other forum posts.

Inappropriate?Excellent question. Today, you can subscribe to the RSS feed on the product page to get updates on new posts for that product. In the relatively near future we'll provide more controls for specifying which information you'd like to see in your dashboard and email notifications. Product-specificity in alerts is an important feature, to be sure.
