Provisional official responses for review by company folk
A company rep may not have the expertise or the time to formulate a known-good company response. It would be handy if the company rep could post a response for review by company people. Perhaps only those with the right domain emails could star the comment?
The end result would be that company-approved messages could start without company approval and acquire it later either directly from the company rep or because a majority of company reps or company employees agreed.

Nice idea!
Our simple model right now is: Anyone with an approved employee email address can post a response which gets a little employee badge (so everyone knows that this person has an insider outlook). Company representatives (who have additional capabilities over plain vanilla employees) can choose a 'Company Pick' from any of the employee or representative responses.
We might look at setting it up so that representatives can choose from any response (not just employee and rep.), but we like how simple the current system works for now. ;)
