Reset Overheard Settings and Messages (twitter)
I just started using Get Satisfaction with my company, all twitter messages concerned qash had been copied into the get satisfaction database of qash (we think). But, we modified the settings and tested it on twitter and those are on get satisfaction, but the old messages are also displayed. My questions:
1) Is it possible to delete twitter messages?
2) Is it possible to deactive the overheard part?
3) Do you copy the messages of twitter into your database?
4) How to remove old messages?

Inappropriate? The Overheard feature essentially mirrors what you would see on Twitter Search. It isn't possible to deactivate the Overheard feature for a company on Get Satisfaction, but I think that you will find that the tweets you see now will rather quickly be replaced by newer tweets. The public Twitter stream moves quite fast, and new tweets are always crowding out old tweets.
Is there a specific concern you have, or are you simply focused on cleaning and gardening this area of your Get Satisfaction site? Our hope is that Overheard is seen as quick snapshots of publicly available tweets that companies can scan and respond to, if they wish. We don't expect that companies would want to try and keep up with gardening the sheer volume of tweets that can come through, but we're always open to hearing how you envision the Overheard feature should work.

Inappropriate? If possible, i want to delete all old messages and update with the new overheard settings of our company.
And i agree, we will not try to keep up with all tweets.
Thanks for the fast reaction!

Inappropriate? One other detail to mention: After two weeks, these tweets will go away. I could log a bug ticket and ask our developers to remove these, but to be honest, it might take longer for them to get to that task. We're a bit booked as we release our new widgets, company tools, and various other improvements.
