Inappropriate?Hi, nikf! So sorry to hear that you're having difficulties with the login form on the MobileSafari. I'll have one of our developers look into it, though I can't make an promises, since the problem might not be entirely on our end. I'm told by one of its main developers that the 2.0 version of MobileSafari is a *significantly* better experience on the iPhone, and so maybe the issue will have solved itself by the end of the week. :)
More broadly, though I haven't experienced the pain of MobileSafari crashing on me when trying to login to Get Satisfaction on my iPhone, I certainly know that our interface on the iPhone is, ah, lacking, to say the least. Every single person in the Get Satisfaction office uses an iPhone, and every single one of us can't stand that we don't have an working, well-designed iPhone interface. Particularly Eric, our community manager, whose works tirelessly to manage the site at all hours of the day and night and would love nothing more than to be able to do it with more efficiency.
All that said, we don't have a timeline for putting together an iPhone interface, because we're a small team and there's a lot already on our plate in the coming months. We do have an open API, though, so if you happen to know somebody out there who's a big Get Satisfaction user and also loves their iPhone and API development, point them our way. We'd love to meet them and convince them to help us out!
I’m working on it!

Inappropriate?I haven't been having any problems logging in, but can imagine that it would be really annoying.
We have so many areas where you can be prompted to log in, I wonder where nifk is running into problems.
I’m bummed

Inappropriate?Hi Guys
Thanks for your patience - and apologies for my tactless comments :)
I was trying to log into the GetSatisfaction site from the homepage's 'Login' link so that I could answer some of our own questions, and after 3 characters of my email address it simply crashed everytime.
If I see this again (I can't seem to replicate it at the moment) I'll let you know - and understand that these things take time.
Thanks for the great service,
-Nik

oh, no problem! we're here to help. and i know how frustrating it can be in the moment, believe me. :) -
Inappropriate?I too have had issues with GSFN and safari. It will usually crash, and then it will work after the crash (probably because it cleared memory). For the most part, it is still a complete surprise it works at all.

Inappropriate?I've had issues logging into GSFN on my iPod touch (2.1), as well. I'm prompted to login after clicking the "Follow this idea" link, and MobileSafari crashes at some point while entering in my email and password. The same thing happens with the embedded WebKit instance in Twitterrific touch.
I’m frustrated
