Solutions and Answers with Get Satisfaction?

Why are there so many "needs answer" postings? What happens when a problem is resolved? I was on the Mozilla page and it looks like no questions ever get resolved. So far none of my questions have been answered on this site. Seems like a great concept but wonder if it works well. I hope so!

The Needs Answer flag shows topics that haven't been answered yet, but once it is answered by an employee or a number of customers, that flag will go away. Those topics that Need Answers are often the newest ones, which is why you see so many of them in the activity stream.

Once a problem is solved, employees can mark it as such, and we encourage them to do that. We're working on a resolution system that will encourage customers to report on this as well.
