Support for OpenID 2 and i-names
I would like to be able to sign in using an i-name, part of the OpenID 2 specification (for example, "=joe.smith").

Inappropriate?We do support OpenID 2.0, but I'm not sure about getting this particular feature implemented. It's surely something we would consider, if enough folks thought it was worth it.

Inappropriate?Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I am unable to use an i-name ("Please provide a valid OpenID"). Support for i-names is part of the OpenID 2 specification (sections 7.2, 7.3, 9.1, 11.2, 13, 14.1, 15.6). I hope that you will consider adding support in the future!

Inappropriate?I agree, this would be useful. If you don't support inames then what form of OpenID do you support? Do you just support access via other orgs that are openid compliant (e.g. gmail ids, yahoo ids, etc?)
