Timeout or other error creating a new topic.
Several times now I have had the system timeout when trying to post a new topic. It seems to just sit there with the busy button and eventually gives me the error page. This was me creating a topic for my own company/product, trying to seed some FAQ items.

Inappropriate?Sorry to hear about the problems Ladderleagues.
I've noticed the same thing over the past couple of days, and I'm in process of updating our databases to be faster. I've got the support requests into our host, but they haven't got back to me with a timeline yet.
I'll post an update here when we have a timeline for additional capacity.

Inappropriate?I did notice today that this looks like it matches another topic I missed before, as the topic do get posted (at least int did in one case??)
Thanks for the reply and the efforts. Retrying a few times seems to get past it if they do not go through on the first attempt.

Inappropriate?I haven't yet recieved the timeline for our host, but hopefully we'll have our new capacity available to switch over to this weekend. We'll do it on the weekend so we affect the fewest number of people, since at the current state of things it will mean 20-30 minutes of downtime.

Inappropriate?Joyent, our host, has been rocking away at getting our new DB setup. It looks like things are on track to be available for the switchover this weekend.
