Topic Search Widget isn't passing along question text to GSFN, can't customize widget.
Hi GSFN,
Having a couple issues with the topic search widget...
First, I wanted to demo how the widget works using Brightkite's implementation on their help page: http://brightkite.com/help
When I enter a question, search, then hit the "Add Details and Submit" button, it sends me along to a new topic page in GSFN just as I'd expect, but the text I entered doesn't come with. It looks as if it should, because the text is included in the querystring, a la: http://getsatisfaction.com/brightkite...
But I don't see the string "my test question" in the new topic fields on the page.
Second, I went to try it out on a widget for my own GSFN site (/trms). When I attempt to customize the topic search widget, I'm taken to this url: http://getsatisfaction.com/trms/widge...
But the content of the page is simply "populate_with(null);"
In contrast, the "Live Topic Search" widget page seems to work just fine.
Just thought I'd let you know! :-)
Thanks,
-John
