User Account Handoff functionality
I would love a feature that would allow a website to hand over users for contribution without them having to re-enter their user information (basically, a user account handoff API), Get Satisfaction is awesome for site designers because they can tie it directly into their own site, however it can be disgruntling to users to have to go through the account creation process twice for a website, a transparent handoff that would allow a distant end to pass user information over to Get Satisfaction to help autocomplete or completely skip the account creation step would be wicked cool.

Inappropriate?hi there, badpirate! you'll be happy to know we already have this. we support the oauth protocol, which allows for just this kind of user account handoff/creation.
we're also implementing support this week for open ID and windows Live ID, which will also do pretty much the same thing. more information on that once we've got it launched.
we're happy to help you through anything you need getting either of these implemented. we're big on users not having to create two accounts.

Happy? I'm ecstatic. :D -
Inappropriate? To expand on Lane's point, here are the two different mechanisms for web services to pass over their users without creating a new login.
- OAuth, an open authentication standard that some have called "a valet key for the web". If you install OAuth in your web service you can allow your users to sign-in to Get Satisfaction with a single click (similar to how certain sites and desktop apps access a user's Flickr account with a single click).
- OpenID or Windows LiveID, identity systems that sites can employ as a "provider" or "consumer." If you make your web site an openid/windows liveID provider you can pass your logged in users over to Get Satisfaction via a very smooth transition.
I’m a single sign-on guy
