What can be done if competitors try to spread misinformation?
If a competitor company wants to spread misinformation or say negative things about a company no GetSatisfaction, what can be done? I see that deleted posts are viewable by the public.

Inappropriate?People can say things anonymously that are untrue. That is a fact of the Internet. You could try to remove all the negative feedback from the Internet, but that's probably not going to work. To me, it's all about how you respond.
Removed topics can be viewed by clicking through, but they are deprecated and taken out of search. The idea is to encourage productive conversation without censoring people. Objectionable content is pushed down, but always accessible in some manner. That provides transparency, which we think is important.
If you ever suspect a competitor is trolling on our site, we'd want to know about that. We take that seriously. It's extremely rare, but we would definitely investigate and support the uncovering of any bad actors on our site.
