Who handles inappropriate content?
Are topics and replies marked as "inappropriate" handled by employees of the specific company, or by employees of Get Satisfaction?
I have marked a few abusive replies (some repeatedly), spam topics, and exact duplicate questions in Apple's section, but none appear to have been handled. I'm guess that these are all handled by the Apple employees, since they rarely visit, thus the lack of action. Is that correct?
Thanks!

Inappropriate?Employees who use our Moderation Tools (http://getsatisfaction.com/premium) can act on inappropriate content immediately by removing it, burying it, etc. Those that don't have access to those tools can also flag topics or replies as inappropriate, and we'll deal with it. Likewise, customers can flag items as inappropriate and we will take a look. That may not be handled immediately as when employees are present and using the tools, but we do our best to resolve flags as quickly as possible.
I'm concerned that, for example, if spam topics have been flagged by you but have not been acted on. If you can point them to me, I will definitely take a look. You can do that here or privately at eric [at] getsatisfaction [dot] com.
We have a set of community guidelines that help us determine what is inappropriate, but there is one other detail to note: Anyone can dispute an action, whether taken by employees or by ourselves. In that event, we do our best to moderate disagreements and try to come to a fair and reasonable conclusion.
Hope this helps, but please have me clarify. We take it pretty seriously and strive to have a healthy environment where people feel comfortable interacting.

Thanks, Eric! That makes perfect sense. In regards to the specific inappropriate content, I will email the links to you as I don't want to make any public accusations.
