Widget not loading - but throwing no errrors
I have installed the floating sidebar tab widget (first one) and yet I can't get it to show up on on any of the pages. As a developer I usually look to firebug for some reason - but FB doesn't report any warnings or errors.
Then I thought that maybe I had a CSS rule that was hiding the tab - so I disabled CSS but the tab still didn't show.
Then I tried IE 7, Safari, and two different domains and each time I got nothing.
I'm showing the javascript loaded ok with a 200 response - but it's not executing. I also have FB and jQuery libs loading so maybe they are fighting with each other - or maybe the load time is not allowing the DOM to be finished when your script runs (even though it is right next to the tag).

I have this problem, too!
Tell me when someone solves it.

The company thinks this is not a problem.

Inappropriate?Hmmm. This sounds very odd. I need to pull in someone with some technical chops to help out.

Inappropriate?Hi,
Can you post a link to one of your pages with the widget embedded onto it? It's hard for us to debug a problem like this without seeing the site code in question. -
Inappropriate?I'm afraid that I don't have a live URL to send to you. However, I was able to correct the problem by manually creating the object on domready() right before the closing body tag. See: http://pastie.org/635405
It would be great if you guys would document (or point me to) how to set the object up for cases like this.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I'm *not* having this problem after all -- I just missed a big chunk of the script because I'm silly and didn't see the scroll bars.
My bad. ( = I'm good now.
I’m feeling foolish
