Make widgets less company oriented and more product-oriented
The Company/Product divide doesn't seem quite right for me. For example, my company is Dokix Inc, and has a product Home Document Manager. The product has a dedicated web site. The feedback page widget is ideal for me to integrate, but I need to change (for example) it to say "Share an idea about Home Document Manager", rather than "Share an idea with Dokix". In other words, the widgets seem a little company oriented rather than product oriented.
I know there's the details tab, but if the widget is on the product web site rather than the company website, it makes sense for the widget to be more product oriented. Any suggestions?

Inappropriate? We've had a bunch of feedback about companies wanting to make the Feedback Widget more product-oriented, as you say.
You could title your Get Satisfaction company section by the product name. I've seen folks do this. But, I'd rather have a product-specific approach.
The good news: This is on our roadmap. I don't have a specific time frame, but I'd like to change this topic type to an idea so we can track it as a product improvement idea. -
Inappropriate?Yes, I have this problem too and it's preventing me from adding the Feedback Tab to our sites.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Agreed, and please support multiple products, as we'd love to add widgets to each of our product pages to offer support, collect ideas, praise, etc... PER PRODUCT.
Thanks! Love GS so far!
I’m excited

FYI: We do offer product-based widgets for paid accounts.
