Inappropriate?Hi StrGazr04,
We just removed your WindowsLive ID from your account. Did you still want to close your user account as well? If so, you can do that with the "close my account" button at the bottom of your Account Settings page.

Inappropriate?I am still having problems with Windows Live. It still tells me when I log out of Hotmail that it can't log me out of Get Satisfaction. How do I fix this?
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?I haven't heard of this happening. I think I might need to pull in a developer to check this out. Sorry for this inconvenience. To clarify, you can't log out of your Hotmail account? Is it at all possible to take a screen shot and share it here?
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate? Also, and this may be a long shot, but I just closed your account here and reopened it in the hope that this might help. Let me know!

Inappropriate?Here is the screenshot: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v17...
When I log out of Hotmail I get an error saying Windows Live can't log me out of Get Satisfaction. Removing my Windows Live and closing my acct on here has not worked. -
Inappropriate?I have the same problem with the same error as the previously posted screen shot.
Help.

Inappropriate?Sorry to hear that, Piquet. So did you want to remove your Windows Live ID from your Get Satisfaction account?
-
Inappropriate?I'm having the same problem, so I removed the windows live ID from my account but it made no difference. Hotmail is still telling me that it can't log me out of "http://getsatisfaction.com/session/from_windows_live"
Please fix this before my hotmail account is broken into and used to send spam emails (this has happened to me before)...or worse.
I’m frustrated and a tad worried.

Inappropriate?Hi morabass,
I'm checking in with our development team again to see if they have any idea what's causing this. -
Inappropriate?I am having this issue too. I have an ordinary Hotmail account and am using Firefox 3.0.10 on Windows Vista.
The message I get is much the same as the screenshot previously posted.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?I logged this one in our bug tracking system. Still not sure why this is happening. I don't have a time frame for fixing it, but I will try to keep you posted on its progress.

This is tracked as a bug already. Will be solved as we redesign login to accommodate Facebook Connect. -
Inappropriate?I have the exact same problem and it is very annoying... Can anyone fix this??
I’m Frustrated

Inappropriate?I don't know if you are still stuck in this endless loop, but what ever is wrong, they still haven't fixed it after all this time. I'll be passing info on Get Satisfaction along to our network admin so he can block any sites with links to Get Satisfaction. I wouldn't want anyone else in the company to get stuck with this crap. Perhaps, since I'm stuck here, I should record all the companies that "use" this site and let them know about the crap that goes on here. They might reconsider associating with this site when the realize that is it pissing off their targeted audience.
I’m TOTALLY PI$$ED

Inappropriate?Apologies for the frustration, and for the delay. We are fixing this problem this week. I will update when this is complete.

Inappropriate? How do I unlink my Windows Live account from Get Satisfaction? This linking causes problems when you try to sign out of Office Live email. Please Help

Inappropriate?Doesn't look like anything has been fixed. I created a getsatisfaction account last week and canceled it a week later and I have the same problem as the other people when I try to log off my Hotmail. What's going on? How do I fix this?
I’m frustrated

Let's see if we can dig in here and get this sorted out. Are you trying to close your Get Satisfaction account? You have a Windows Live account? Just want to make sure I understand. -
Inappropriate? My get satisfaction account is already closed. I'm having the same problem as the other people in this topic are experiencing. When I log off Windows Live I get a message that they could not sign me off https://login.getsatisfaction.com/liv.... Thanks for your help

Inappropriate? We're looking back in to this issue. An update will be posted here when we figure out what's causing this behavior.

Inappropriate?Hi GillosMtl,
To answer your first question, you're seeing the message whenever you logout of Hotmail because Windows Live is attempting to log you out of *our* site as well.
Unfortunately, we do not currently support Windows Live's logout feature. Hence the scary warning you're seeing. Since you closed your account, you've been logged off of our site and can safely ignore it.
That said, it's still annoying for you to see that message whenever you log out. From what I can gather Windows Live should stop showing you that warning within a week.
Longer-term, we're working to fix this again, but it will take some time.
I’m annoyed too.

Inappropriate?Hi,
I have this problem too! But I didn't have an get satisfation account until today! Which sound strange, but I think this is what happening.
I was on my way to get an account (via window live) so I could tack another problem. I started the process (logging in) and then decided against the whole thing. After that i started getting the weird can't log messages when I logged out of hotmail.
I waited to get in touch with you guys because I though I had set access for a week in my initial logging in process. Well, more than a week has gone by...and now what? I started doubting... had I or had I not actually used get satisfactaion? If so I don't want an account anymore, I'd rather be able to log out of hotmail completly!
Well, to write this message/complaint I had to log in ... and in that process I found out that you didn't have my e-mail... so I didn't have an account?! Well, now I'm more confused and disturbed than ever!!!
I would just like a fix! can you do this? -
Hi Katarina, apologies for the confusion. I think you were logged in through Windows LiveID (as far as they were concerned) even though you didn't have an email associated. Since you abandoned in the midst of a sign in process it makes sense that this would be a confusing situation!
Here's what we can do to resolve: I'll close your account and de-link your Windows LiveID credential. Then, make sure you are logged out of this site. Ideally, you should delete your cookies/internet files (or if you prefer, just cookies related to GetSatisfaction). You can do that by clicking the Tools menu and selecting Internet Options. Click the Delete button under Browsing History.
After this, it's up to Windows LiveID to clear. As Christian mentioned above, that may take up to a week. If you want to get in touch with me in the future without logging in here you can email me directly at thor at getsatisfaction.com.
Again apologies for the frustration! -
There is no WIndows LiveID attached to your account--I assume you must have removed it.
