That functionality does actually exist on a per project basis although it is currently suffering from a bug that we are working on.

To subscribe go to the project page (the one with the thumbnails) and click the little envelope icon opposite the projects name.

Alternatively you can subscribe to all comments via RSS from the dashboard.
