How can I tell if Ghosterly is really blocking bugs?
I have Ghostery set up properly to block bugs. I've checked and double checked. Still the will red boxes with the name of the seems to on my screen all the time. Does that mean the Ghostery is not blocking even though is setup to block? Am I missing something? I don't about who is spying as blocking the from them.

The red boxes will always show even if blocking is turned on. You'll see a difference in the way the blocked trackers show vs. unblocked in this screenshot:
You can also see a difference in the menu here:
I'm going to make blocking more visually explicit in the next version.

Inappropriate?I am new to this and because I am legally blind I do miss instructions etc., some of the time but like these comments say, I have all the sites blocked but Google analytics still pops up as do most of Google's intrusive applets. I wouldn't mind but I do not have Google's toolbar installed I use one that includes many different search engines but unlike the rest Google does not seem to have any way to stop it's applets.
If anyone can enlighten me as to why this is happening and how to fix it I would be grateful for your help.
