Iphone 2.2 broke Wake Me Gently
Since upgrading my iphone firmware to 2.2, turning off the screen - even using the proximity sensor - interferes with the bell chime. Before the firmware update, I'd never had a problem (even when - shhhhh - locking the iphone). Now I have to leave it on the lit black screen. Please fix what apple broke.

Inappropriate?Okay, I will dive into this tomorrow and hopefully it won't be too hard to figure out. It does look like Apple changed a few things in this area , I have a couple of questions for you.
1) Is the ringer switch on or off?
2) Did you test with the ringer on and the lock off?
3) As far as you can tell with the lock off and the proximity sensor off you do not have the problem right?
Thanks.

Inappropriate?1) Ringer switch on (phone would ring).
2) Ringer switch on and unlocked (no autolock).
3) Not sure what you mean by proximity sensor off, but if you mean leaving the sensor unblocked, then yes. I had no problem leaving it unlocked, with the screen showing black except for the time and other basics WMG shows in its "screensaver" mode.
There is another app developer who commented that this change in 2.2 is affecting apps systemwide. That's got to be frustrating for developers as well as users. Thanks for the prompt attention.
I’m irritated at apple, but optimistic

Inappropriate?Okay. I believe I have fixed this and uploaded it to the apple store. Version 1.5 should fix the issue.
I am interested to know if you will continue to be able to get it to work with the lock on. If you are can you tell what device you are using? Iphone/Ipod Touch 2G 3G?
I’m confident
