When is Google going to start giving their advertisers and publishers second changes (or at least warnings) when it comes to Adsense?

And why doesn't Google stick to search, since their now moving into a lots of other niches on the internet (like travel) ?

Can I select specific google ads to put on a page through adsense? Additionally, if I was advertising a range of books, could there be any circumstance where using targeted adsense ads would outperform an amazon affiliate link with it's potential sale-price percentage return?

I don't understand how the Adsense payment verification works. I made a deposit and it still tells me that my account is unverified.
