Recently active problems in Google about Google Search

Well my computer was recently bombarded with viruses but after running MANY tests from Spyware Doctor, Avast, Spybot: Search and Destroy, and Verizon Internet Security, Verizon and Spybot always came up blank or the promblem still continued after a scan so i uninstalled them. I installed Avast and Spyware Doctor and after running a scan with Avast the problem seams to have been solved. But now Google, Yahoo, and alot of other search engines do not load when i search somthing. Some pages wont load either (just the ads load) The progres bar is completely blank. I use the browser Mozilla Firefox but i dont think internet explorer works either. Also, pages seem to take longer to load aswell. Could it be that 1 of my antiviruses did somthing? Could i still have a virus in my system? Whenever i run a new test it always shows viruses yet the last scans always claim they found and deleted all viruses already. i dont think firewalls are the promblem either.. also, i tried system restoring but i didnt hav a restore point going far enough to fix this but ill try again... plz help me. p.s would reinstalling firefox or another new browser help?

I do not want my husband's relatives near my hits. an you isolate only my name and immediate family to be near or around my sites?

We run a site that is built off of php and have tried to embed a google CSE. However, when any query is entered, no results are listed. We have tried diagnosing the problem, and the only ideas we have include:

Our CSE is implemented inside a side frame.
Our site is inside a login page.

Okay before i begin, let me give you some background history. I run a very popular Wordpress powered blog called eGMCarTech (http://www.egmcartech.com. First my traffic had a sudden drop in January 2008 from Google. I finally got a hold of someone at Google and they told me that basically 50% of my content was not being indexed due to being on a shared server and that the server was blocking resources Google needed to crawl and index my site.

So I switched to MediaTemple (an amazing hosting company) on a dedicated server in end of April 2008. Moved my whole website there and started using a plugin called Google Sitemap XML (http://www.arnebrachhold.de/projects/...). Great plugin which creates a sitemap and pings Google every time you write a new post.

After that every article I wrote started showing up on Google within 20 mins. It was beautiful. Even my old content, which according to my Google Webmaster's account had over 2,000 pages with errors, got indexed and the errors went down to 128. Even my pagerank went from 4 to 5! I was having the time of my life.

Now here is the problem, starting May 12th of 2008, every article I've written is NOT showing up on Google. All of the sudden new content is not getting indexed. I made no major changes to the code besides using Disqus (disqus.com) as my new commenting system. I checked my Google Webmasters account and that says that Google last visited my site for a crawl on May 10th, and the number of errors went down from 128 to 58. I just checked Google Webmasters again and it says Google came by on the 13th. However none of my new content that I've written after May 12th is getting indexed! It used to get indexed like 20 mins after i wrote it and now its just not showing up at all. Not only that my old content seems to appear and disappear every now on then from Google.

Traffic is still stable and PageRank is still 5. robots.txt file is good and so is the sitemap.

Can someone PLEASE help?

When will you be releasing an update of the Google Toolbar for Firefox 3 ?

Most developers have likely been using the betas and release candidates for quite awhile. Any APIs should be locked down since RC1.

I own a very popular blog called eGMCarTech (http://www.egmcartech.com) that covers the automotive industry. Through September 07 - December 07, we were getting a huge amount of Google traffic, about 3,000 - 4,000 visitors a day from Google to be exact. However for some reason on January 8th, our traffic dropped to about 500 - 600 a day from Google. We've been trying to figure out the problem ever since but can't find a solution.

Not only that, some of our new content does not seem to get indexed by Google. In the past when we used to write an article, it would be indexed within minutes, now we'd be lucky to get indexed at all.

Also, according to Google Webmasters Tool, we have over 1762 URLS that are in the NOT FOUND section and aren't being indexed.

Can someone from Google please help. We're dying here.

However, our blog has been linked to by several people with >= 5 PageRank, we have some traffic, we have about 60 subscribers to the RSS feed, we submitted a site map. In the meantime, a friend created another site that's only 1 page and has no big links - that site was indexed in two days.

We're feeling a little neglected here and would love some help!!!

Google Notifier suggested that I update, which I'm happy to do. It opens up this page http://toolbar.google.com/gmail-helpe... but when I click on the download button, I get this error message:

I tried updating from Google Updater, but I don't seem to have an option to do so. In addition to that, when I try to launch Google Notifier now, all it does is open my GMail window.

What's going on?
