Inappropriate?Chrome does have SVG support. For example:

Here's a thread about the status in September:

Inappropriate?Neil,
Not sure what's going on then - when I attempt to load the web app that I use I get a large orangish box with a grey rounded square at the center with a white puzzle piece shown on the square. The text below that square says: "No plugin available to display this content". As I know that the app uses SVG to draw the graphic tha normally occupies that space, my assumption was that chrome didn't have SVG support.
Is there something I can provide that will help us figure out why Chrome isn't properly displaying this SVG (or equally possibly why this web app isn't properly invoking Chrome's SVG support?)
I attempted to reference the link you gave of a thread about SVG support, but I got a 404 Not Found error.
I’m entertaining a shred of hope that this might already be in place.

Inappropriate?Oops, looks like Get Satisfaction's auto-hyperlinker blows up if the URL has a @ character in it (I've reported the bug to them). Here's that link again, this time proxied through tinyurl: http://tinyurl.com/6ug9cn
As for why SVG isn't kicking in, that's a good question. I don't know the answer. My guess is that it is something in the syntax of the embeding structure, not the SVG itself. This page talks about some options:
http://www.w3schools.com/svg/svg_inht...
Now that you know what to look for you should be able to identify a difference between a working SVG out there on the web and your non-working (for Chrome) instance.
If nothing is obvious, post back with a public demo webpage showing the issue and I'll debug it further or pass it on to the Chrome team for analysis.
