Enabling Gmail Labs for GAFYD account is shrouded in mystery.
I've searched extensively and found little or no help on enabling Gmail Labs on a Google Apps account. I have checked the new services box under 'General' in 'Domain Settings' for my domain, and waited about two weeks - still no 'Labs' tab in my Gmail settings.
It's frustrating that regular GMail users have these features rolled out almost seamlessly, but that there's very little help for those Apps users who are still wondering why we don't get access to the experimental features too. Consistent user experience shouldn't be something I have to ask for.

Inappropriate?Ditto! It's frustrating that when I use IMAP to access my domain/apps account and gmail account, they work differently. I need the Advanced IMAP and other Labs features in GAFyD please.
I’m mildly disappointed

Inappropriate? So this still hasn't been solved for everyone? I created a Google Apps account a whiles back, and after raving about it to a friend, she bought a domain and created an account as well. However, she was definitely not okay when she discovered Google Labs wasn't enabled for her account. A month later, I also created a Google Apps account for my parents. They didn't have Google Apps either. However, it does now. The little green icon in the upper right hand corner doesn't show up until one goes into settings, selects the Google Labs tab, and enable one of the lab features.
Bummer for those who still don't have it for their account. Hopefully Google will get it going for you soon.
I’m positive that it'll eventually get taken care of.

Inappropriate? This, as of about half a month ago, has been solved as it has finally hit my account.
This doesn't excuse Google from their lack of contact with Google Apps customers to keep them informed about the labs roll-out, however.
I’m pleased, for now.

Inappropriate?True story. However, it definitely doesn't surprise me. Google generally isn't forthcoming with information about what's next on their plate. Which from both a user's and an outside developer's standpoint makes things difficult and unsatisfying. A little information does a wonder of good.
