Font Changes & CRs Randomly Added to Google Doc
I have been working in Google docs the last few days. It's a simple doc: a few headers (+font size, blue), no bullets (use asterisks instead), and a couple of horizontal rules. I am constantly finding that my font size is changing in the lower half of the document, and random carriage returns appear. Any idea on why this is happening? Luckily my doc is more for fun, but I'm still very frustrated ...

Inappropriate?Three questions:
1) Which browser(s) are you using? We have seen instances in the past where a browser (particularly IE) will restyle the document on its own. But this is pretty rare these days.
2) When do these changes happen, in the middle of a session or after you reopen the document?
3) Are you collaborating with anyone (including yourself on two computers)?
I'd be happy to investigate further if you'd like to share the document with me (neil.fraser@gmail.com)

Inappropriate?Thanks for the quick reply!

1) I typically use Firefox (and see these bugs occasionally). My wife uses IE and saw a lot of problems last night.
2) During a session. She would start to type and suddenly (during a doc save?) there would be a pause, she would be taken to the top of the doc, and the font and CRs would return. Some of the other edits would be saved (e.g., changed typos).
3) Yes. There are two collaborators (me, owner; wife, collaborator).

The problem has been consistently in the lower half of the doc. The font size is changed (and maybe family, too), and last night there were a handful of returns that she could not delete.

Inappropriate?I'm having this problem, too. I use Safari on OS X. The font size usually changes from 10 to 12 on the upper part of the document. I've been wondering if it has to do with whether I have pasted text into the document or not.
I’m hopeful
