Gmail messages sent through "Send mail as" bouncing back

I am using Gmail's "Send mail as" feature with my business domain. This has worked perfectly for months since I made the switch. Within the last week, I've suddenly had three bouncebacks from three different recipient addresses. (One was a business, one was an academic institution, another was Hotmail.) Why are these recipients suddenly rejecting emails generated through Gmail and how do I fix this problem?
