Google blog search for blogs linking to my site return irrelevant results

I generally like to keep an eye on who is linking to my blog through a google blog search and this is also the way that wordpress shows you who is linking back to you on your dashboard.

However recently I've noticed that the results there seem completely irrelevant. I see blogposts "linking" to me but visiting the article in question I discover no such link.

Some of the results are accurate as they should but many are just wrong.
