Google Calendar does not send reminders problem

My calendar also stopped sending reminders, although I can change the event details and it will send out a changed calendar event

I also have this problem.
It's Really frustrating - Google Calendar and Gmail is probably the first online system where I really felt I could manage my work and spare time - until about 10 days ago - for NO APPARENT REASON all my event reminder simply stopped working.

I have checked spam filters yada yada - but I AM SIMPLY NOT GETTING ANY EVENT REMINDERS AT ALL - and the link above to Google Support DOES NOT RESOLVE THE PROBLEM.

This is hugely frustrating and it is impossible to get in touch with Google support!

Perhaps it could help to try to create a new google account and see if the problem persists on the new account as well. If the new account can send reminders, then one can assume the problem lies with your current account. If it doesn't help to create a new account, try using your old account on another computer.

This way you can isolate to see if the problem is account-related or computer-related, which could help when you contact Google.

Hi - several people are experiencing this problem (http://www.google.com/support/forum/p...) and it seems to be calendar specific - not account.
So if you create a new calendar within your account then reminders work for this.
