Google Calendar push on iPhone has problems with notifications.

I encountered a different behavior on iPhones Google Calendar push.

Before, when adding an event the Notifications got set accordingly to default notifications set in Google Calendar even if I didn't set an alarm - i liked that.
Now it doesn't set anything.

If I add an alert on the iPhone it automatically sets a pop-up event in Google Calendar. I would like to receive email or SMS.

I found this paragraph on Google support pages that could relate to this problem:

    ----------------------------------------

    Event reminders aren't syncing correctly

Microsoft Outlook Calendar and Google Calendar differ in the types of event reminders offered. While Google Calendar supports pop-up, email, and SMS reminders, Microsoft Outlook Calendar supports only pop-up event reminders. Accordingly, only pop-up reminders are synced between Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook Calendar.

Also, Microsoft Outlook Calendar supports only one pop-up event reminder per event. So, if your Google Calendar events contain multiple pop-up event reminders, only one pop-up reminder will be transferred to your Microsoft Outlook Calendar events with this setting enabled.

    ----------------------------------------

I know it's a long shot but if someone from Google is reading this please re-enable the option to set the default reminders for a calendar if an event is added through iPhone or any other device that uses Googles push.

    Thank you.
