Google search redirects to local site instead of using google.com
I'm from portugal. When, normally, I type google.com, site redirects it self to google.pt
I disabled this by selecting the option to always use google.com.
But when using firefox, if I perform a search using the toolbar search, the site redirects to the portuguese version. This should not happen.
From my research, I notice that firefox sends the search query as:
http://www.google.com/search?q=AAAAAA...
If the "client=firefox-a" is removed from the search parameters, then the site no longer redirects.

Inappropriate?I had the same problem and found a search engine of Mycroft Project for Firefox that doesn't do the redirection. Go to
http://mycroft.mozdev.org/google-sear...
and install the "Google (No country redirect)" search engine. It seems to work well until now.
